Why data recovery so expensive?

The first thing any person or company should think about is “what is my/our data worth?” You are the only one that can answer that question.Data Recovery isn’t always as simple as just running software on a drive to recover the data. In some cases it requires the use of expensive equipment, parts, clean room facilities and well experienced engineers.

What do you mean by Donor Drive ?

When a drive has a mechanical problem it’s necessary to replace the faulty components with working ones sourced from an identical donor drive in order to recover data. The process is very much like an organ transplant. Your failed drive is considered to be the patient, and the parts drive is called the donor.

More and more data recovery jobs require donor drives these days, because mechanical hard drive failures are on the rise. Modern hard drives are constantly increasing in density, and manufacturers are using more inexpensive components, which leads to higher failure rates. And with increased density and the greater precision of mechanical parts, it’s becoming harder to find compatible donors for part replacement.

We are only End Users not Corporate ?

Data recovery pricing is purely based on media condition, severity of damage, capacity and donor availability etc. The first thing any person or company should think about is “what is my/our data worth?” You are the only one that can answer that question.

How long does recovery process take?

Usually it won’t take long. Most recoveries will be completed within 2-4 days. Upon receiving your drive, our engineers will diagnose the drive and provide you the expected recovery time.

Will you recover 100% data from failed drive?

We cannot guarantee how much data can be recovered from your device; we will only know when we complete the recovery attempt. We will do our best to retrieve all possible recoverable data and achieve a good result for you. You can then test the data to check if your important files are in good condition before you pay us. Our goal will be to recover your most important files and all other data for you in the best condition possible.

How do i get my recovered data ?

You need to submit any form of storage device to transfer recovered data or you can purchase a brand new storage device at our end for an extra price.

Can use the drive/media after recovery ?

Highly recommend not use the original drive if the drive was failed due to bad sectors or physical damages. And you can use the drive if the data was lost due to human errors such as deleted / formatted etc.
